Haddock and Dill

Haddock and Dill

Since January, I have been posting letters from my mother to my grandmother, 1941-1979. She wrote one every week for nearly 40 years and I have the collection of letters. They include interesting clippings, photos, etc. At this time, I am up to 1953 and my family moved to Japan. I now am posting my father’s Kodachrome slides taken that year, my mother’s diary entries and her letters. This makes a very interesting account of a young American professor’s family living in post war Japan, 1953-1954. I post every day, and today have posted my 500th entry.
