The Japan Summer Internship

The Summer Internship

“The Japan Summer Internship” Chronicles a British university student’s life as an intern at a small manufacturing company based in Shizuoka, Japan. I started to write this blog as I found many blogs about Japan and many blogs about internships, but never any blogs about internships in Japan.
I hope by reading this that people who are thinking of working in Japan (regardless of the occupation) can get an insight into what it really means to live and work in this country. As I know a 100% serious blog would become boring very quickly, I do my best to insert the odd joke here and there. If you don’t find them funny, please forgive me!
Enjoy!

About this Japan blogger

I’m a university student from the UK majoring in International Business and Japanese. I first came to Japan in September 2011 to start my university exchange at Kansai University (Suita city, Osaka) but moved to Shizuoka at the end of July 2012 to participate in the 2012 Shizuoka Business Internship Programme. I’m known by my friends as the one always making daft jokes and poking fun at things that people take too seriously, so I hope to bring that to the blogosphere!
