Topics are mostly about classic Japanese cinema prior to 1970s. Films of Ozu, Kurosawa, Naruse and Kinoshita are featured of course, but rarely seen classics are discussed more frequently. I try to place these films in their historical context, to provide readers with more social background of the works.
Also, news articles related to Japanese classic films are posted occasionally.
