Hanamai, the ikebana blog

A blog about the Japanese art of Ikebana, my journey in learning and mastering the art, and an occasional post on my life here in Japan.

Has lived in Japan for the past 15 years and has been studying ikebana for 14 years. I have a 2nd degree masters certificate in the Ohara School of Ikebana and teach ikebana lessons in English to the Japanese people in my community. My full time job is teaching English at four different elementary schools in a nearby community.
