The task and mission of the Japan Daily Press is to engage Asia and the World with a never-ceasing flow of news and editorials on various facets of Japan. We plan to keep our readers up-to-date on Japanese politics, economy, society, and culture with our daily news. We also offer our critical and more in-depth engagement on a range of contemporary issues through weekly editorials.

We are a team of either Japanese nationals or Japan-residing foreigners. All of us have a passion for Japan as well as bringing the latest news to both those living in the country, as well those abroad. We are also big fans of discussion, so we welcome our visitors inquiries and opinions in order for everyone to have a better understanding of Japan.
