Maboroshi no Rouge

Blog in French about Japanese culture, subcultures and society. I tend to focus on traditional arts, such as tea ceremony, maiko/geiko, kitsuke and kimono fashion. But you’ll also find book reviews, and articles on Japanese sweets (hmmm, sweets!). Occasionally, I’ll try to write relevant posts about diplomacy and recent events.

About this Japan blogger

I’m a 23-year-old teaholic living in Paris. I fell in love with Japan when I was a kid and started learning the language in high school. I had the great opportunity to study one year in a school of Kitakata (Fukushima prefecture), and another year in Kyoto University.
