My name is Grin. I moved to Japan seven years ago and have lived in Tokyo, Saitama, Chiba, Gunma, and now Niigata – where I plan to live the rest of my life with my talented, and supportive wife.

Supporting independent talent is my hobby. Everyday, I am looking for people that have a passion for something. I am passionate about people that are passionate about what they do. I have met actors, musicians, artists, scientists, and everything in between. After many years of meeting so many interesting people, I decided to create a blog and podcast dedicated to telling other people about my talented friends. It started out as a free time hobby and was interrupted by the earthquake, tsunami, and nuclear meltdown for a while, but I sprang back in December 2011, and have found more support and interest then ever before.
