“I have worked and lived in Japan for over 20 years. I started out with a publishing company where I established and managed their office in Japan. I also was Editor in Chief of Japan Management Review during that time. Later, I ran my own consultancy business before branching out into web businesses about 10 years ago.
After 4 years, I took a break from the web and the consultancy business scene and got involved with venture capital investment groups in Japan, which among many investments included purchasing golf courses, acquiring REIT businesses and running stock exchange listed companies. Following this, I spent a short-time in Australia working for a public finance company and creating an online financial market exchange.”
