Abdel Ibrahim is an avid sport angler and  lure builder based in Kanagawa Prefecture.  He started The Angler after recognizing a lack of information about Japanese sport fishing in English.  In addition to The Angler, Abdel regularly writes a fishing column for Outdoor Japan Magazine, and translates for several prominent tackle makers and professional sport anglers.
